About This Jam
Game Jam Overview
This Game Jam invites developers, designers, and creators to build a playable game within a limited timeframe. Participants are encouraged to focus on originality, strong gameplay, and a polished player experience.
• Projects may be created individually or in teams.
• All genres and visual styles are welcome.
• The objective is to deliver a functional, engaging game that demonstrates creativity, clarity, and thoughtful design.
• Submissions will be evaluated based on gameplay quality, execution, design strength, and overall potential.
• Optional Post-Jam Opportunity for Winners Winning participants may optionally request additional support from CoreGame.
Support may include:
• Professional polishing and refinement
• Quality improvements and optimization
• Enhancements to gameplay, UX, and presentation
• Preparation for commercial release
• Publishing via CoreGame accounts Participation in this stage is entirely voluntary.
Revenue Sharing Model (If Published)
For projects selected for publishing under this optional program, revenue distribution will be applied after applicable taxes and deductions:
• Game Owner / Creator(s): 50%
• Platform (Steam / Apple / etc.): 30%
• CoreGame: 20% This structure ensures creators retain the primary share while benefiting from professional development and publishing support.
Rules & Guidelines
- 1Participation is open to Qatar residents only.
- 2Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams.
- 3One submission per participant/team is allowed.
- 4Development must occur within the official jam dates.
- 5Pre-existing full projects or templates are not permitted.
- 6Properly licensed, public domain, or original assets are allowed.
- 7Pirated or unlicensed assets will result in disqualification.
- 8Submissions must include a playable and stable build.
- 9Games must not contain offensive or inappropriate content.
- 10All participants retain full ownership of their projects.
- 11Winners may optionally request polishing & publishing support.
- 12Optional publishing follows revenue sharing after taxes/deductions.
- 13Judges’ decisions are final and non-negotiable.
- 14Late submissions will not be accepted.
- 15Participants must maintain professional and respectful conduct.

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria. Each criterion is rated from 1-5 stars.
Core Experience
5.0×How strong and engaging the primary gameplay feels.
Execution & Polish
5.0×How refined and stable the game feels.
Design & Depth
5.0×How well the systems support engagement over time.
Market Potential
5.0×Likelihood of success beyond the jam.
